For sale is my Stainless Steel Ultra-Lux Dragon that has been modified by me. This light has been modded to a searchlight functionality with a Carclo 26.5mm optic and 219C with a 6 amp LD-A4 constant current driver. This optic and LED produces a nice beam for searchlight purposes that is almost entirely hotspot with a soft corona around it. I also replaced the stock aluminum pill with a hefty copper pill.
Around the tail where it unscrews there is a very slightly flatter spot where it was dropped on linoleum, but is otherwise like new and will receive a gentle brushing before shipping

I am interested but have a couple questions.

Is it single mode? Otherwise what's the UI like?
Do you know how the throw compares to the reflectored turbo xp model?

The LD-A4 is programmable, can have moonlight and up to 5 additional modes in forward or reverse order. The Max level on this version can be set from 6A down to 4A in 250mA increments. I think it is currently at 5A which is comfortable for a McClicky switch. Can also be set to memory or no memory and some strobe modes if desired.

Throws similarly to the reflector model for distance, but the light is all in one large throwing spot where the reflector spot is much smaller with a wide dim spill, hence why I call this setup a searchlight.
