It most certainly is. One should have ear protection on their noise makers. Gemtech Outback II upgraded to the G-core monocore internals. Be vewy vewy quiet.

What one should really be asking is... what was Hogo using for target practice...

Yes, but they're not black. I took a satin-finished bezel and blackened it by heating red-hot and quenching in WD40, several times.

    The Coyote hold:

Developed to use one hand to keep an eye on the distant tree line while watching what your dog is doing. Two fingers hold the spot light and two fingers hold the HDS light. With this cigar hold, the HDS can be rotated in almost a 180 degree arc while the spot light scans the distant tree line. Very similar hold to that of carrying multiple magazines partially filled with hole punch cartridges.

Used at 4am this morning on a golf course at 2,200 feet elevation while walking my border collie mix dog. Several coyotes, bears, foxes, and skunks in the area.

No, I don't think they have, but it would look splendid on one of my Twisties.

How do you like the tritium vials in the bezel? Was thinking about doing this but am concerned that it may be too bright in the pitch black.
