Could anyone tell me if I need a transformer to charge my TN42C V2 CW torch?
I bought it from the USA so it came a with a US 2 pin plug for charging.
Can I simply use a charge cable with UK 3 pin plug for the mains and an 'iec c7' plug to connect to the Thrunite AC/DC Adaptor supplied?
The TN cable plug is stamped 10A and 250V-.
Some electrical shops in the UK tell me I need to use a transformer, other wise it could damage the TN adaptor and/or the torch.
Does anyone know for sure please?

It'll depend on the specs of the charging adapter, that's the important thing. Cables and plugs have generic ratings, but the adapter will be specific. If the input on the adapter is wide enough, you could cut off the 2 pin plug and replace with a UK 3 pin. What is the voltage/frequency input?

Found a pic on the Web which says the adapter ac input is 100-240v and 50/60Hz. If your adapter is the same, then you can use it safely via a 13a plug (fused at 3a).
