I love everything about the R50 Pro except the lack of a lanyard attachment point. I debated about sending the light back for a refund but like it so well that I decided to try to fix the issue.
The only good place for a lanyard attachment point is just behind the switch, near the head. The rest of the light has to stay untouched so it will slip into the magnetic charging dock. I found a 1/4" wide cable tie and slipped it through a lanyard before securing it to the light body. Only about one hour of use so far but I like the way it works.
There are certainly other ways to accomplish the same result but this works for me and it was quick and easy.
