I was looking to swap out the drivers in a few of my LED lights (they use AA or 14500 cells) to rid them of the disco mode however I need some guidance on the board specs on this page...

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1...-2800mah-2-group-3-5-modes-led-driver-circuit

With the mAh ratings, do these assume use of the 14500/18650 cells?

Also, they have some numbers off to the side... 8*AMC7135... what does the 8* indicate?

Appreciate any guidance.

You'll need a board that has a suitable Voltage range for the flashlight that you intend to fit into.

1 x AA is 1.5v
1 x 14500 is 4.2v

I can't see anything on the listing you are looking at to say what voltage it is suitable for.

The number before the AMC7135 indicate the number of 7135 chips that are on the board, the high the number the higher the mA output.

Have a look at the below link to mountain Electronics website.
