Can anyone recommend a supplier of adapters that use 3 series connected AA cells in place of a single D cell, output voltage therefore 4.5 volts.
IIRC these used to be available from a forum member, but I cant find them now.
Someone who can ship affordably to the UK.
I tried fleabay, but ended up with adapters that use 3 AA cells in parallel, output 1.5 volts.
I want to use 6 energiser L91 lithium primary cells in series, in a 2 D cell Maglite to drive a 10 watt, 1,000 lumen LED lamp module.
