What do I do?
It was in there for about 1-2 minutes.
It was still working when I got it out but died almost immediately.
The lens has a small hole melted in the edge which may have got water through it when I cooled it down. The battery, tailcap, and body are fine, and the LED still works (barely- high is around 0.05 lumens and turbo is nonexistent).
Do you think it is repairable?

UPDATE: I just took it out of the rice and put it back together and slid the OLD battery into it.
Then I turned it on... it was still cycling through all the modes!
I double clicked- it still does turbo!
It also still does Turbo S!!!!!
So this certainly is one EXTREMELY tough torch!

Re: HELP!! I just dropped my Olight S1R in a Fire!!

I think if I remove the TIR optic I may be able to get it working- how do I remove it though?

I'd send it in to Olight for repair/replacement.

I'd remove the battery and regard it as a possible explosive.
Li-ion is to be catious with at the best of times. If it's been in a fire, never use it again and dispose of in a safe place.
You can try the torch again, but best with another protected 16340 only. That way, if the torch has been so as to become unsafe, the cell's protection shoud keep everything safe.
Also best not to use the in-light charging.

You weren't at the flashaholic swap meet were you? Sounds like something we would do...

(Almost) everything can be repaired :) ... the real question is: is it worth it? Contact Olight for approximate repair charge, add shipping cost and you will see if it is worth it. I would agree with TheBelgian: Discard the li-ion battery asap and consider the flashlight itself to be dangerous - keep away from children and other family members. If you decide to experiment with another battery, do so outside.

I'd like to post some pics, but I can't afford a supporter membership so am not permitted to post pics.

Here's the story behind how I managed to drop it in a fire.
I was fanning a pile burn with an old box holding my S1R to provide illumination.
I mustn't have been holding it tight enough because it slipped out of my hand and into the fire.
So I quickly tried to rake it out, but it got buried in coals.
Eventually I got it out, and it was still working!
But as I got it onto the grass it died.
The only part which looks damaged is the TIR optic (which has a hole melted in it).
The LED in the on/of switch still works, and the main led still works, but is very dim and only works when connected to the charger.

So that's how I did it...
