Advice needed Modified M6 Guardian

As stupid as it is I ve accidentally put my battery magazine in backwards and now the light won't work. It's a mcclicky 3 level upgrade but unsure of the led. I m figuring the led has fried but don't know. Batteries are 2x unprotected 18650 nitecore.

Is the LED a tower type that fits like the ican lamp assembly If so there are tower LED's made for M6 lights available out there.

It seems to be Bill, secured by 2 Phillips screws I ll take photos when I can... hopefully I can get the issue fixed [emoji20] miss it already.

Is there anyone who can help? I ve not been able to source a compatible unit that will work with the mcclicky 3 stage switch

The usual way to figure out if its the LED or switch, is to bypass the switch with a piece of wire. Not sure if that would help with your problem. Anyone?

I ve been told I fried the driver but the led looks different also like melted. What a dumb ***! (ME I m talking about)
