LED for Hurricane?

SureFire LED Hurricane Blackout Lamp

I'm not sure, but I would buy it if SureFire made a LED Hurricane Blackout Lamp. Based on their patent, it should be a 6 volt system.

Yes the lamp runs on 6v. For long runtimes, 123's arent great, you'd be better off using C or D cells. I believe the Hurricane Lamp was originally designed to sell 123's at a lower price because it is considered a "light".

I'm thinking that I will mod mine to run two leds in series, with a resistor or maybe DD two Lux 1W.
