New member and new Boss owner here. I recently picked up a Ti version of the boss 35. I do a lot of electronic anodizing in the knife community and wanted to give the boss a little color. My concern is with the head and the copper insert. At first glance these do not appear to come apart easy if at all. Just looking for someone to confirm that is true. a little color is cool but not if it comes at the cost of damaging the light.

Thanks

The ti head is actually copper, with two titanium sleeves. In theory you could remove both sleeves and do them separately but the bottom sleeve is loctited so it can engage with the body during opening and closing. So it would be difficult to remove and restore.

That said, the concern is not water intrusion
