Cheap Color Filters!

If you have need of color filters or difusers for your lights with one inch OD bezels try this! The caps off of Coke 20oz bottles will snap over the bezels of lights with one inch outside diameter bezels. I have yellow, white and red bottle caps fit over my MiniMags, SF KL-4 and my CNC 123.

Here is what the bottle caps look like all lit up! Left to right, the lights are CNC 123, MiniMag, and L4.

That was fun! Thanks. I tried white and red caps on an L4 and a E2e. It didn't seen to matter whether I used LED or incandescent.

The red was dimmer than my ARC AAA red.

The white put out a lot more light than the red.

Maybe I should try yellow and blue. Is anybody thirsty? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Bottle caps are OK, but i think they black too much light.
