Conclusion

These looks like good alkaline cells and capacity is on the high side.

Notes and links

I got the batteries from: a Canadian appreciative of the work HKJ does and shares

How is the test done and how to read the charts
Compare to other AA/AAA batteries: Alkaline/NiMH/Lithium

Thank you for the test.

Small remark: you misspelled 'Signature'.

I just bought a 48 cell AA pack and was wondering if they were worth it. Half the price over Duracell at Costco as well. Most of my items have rechargeable cells. Remotes, clocks and some other low drain items don't so I do use them now and then. 9V in Smoke detectors would be another one to see compared as well.

Nice. The value seems high with the price/capacity ratio. I'll pick some up for emergency use. Because when the power is out you can't recharge your....rechargeables.

Your spare rechargables need to be precharged for those situations. But if you don't have enough. These are a good deal. It was around $13 here, they charge recycling fee of $2 so it become $15.

Yes, they have good capacity... However, they leak like crazy when they get old and/or discharged.

Finally lost so many lights/remote controls/etc... That I bought a bunch of Eneloops (standard capacity) just because of all the leaking.

Still have a pack of AAA and AA Kirkland batteries for emergencies. But never leave them in anything I care about ever again.

I've had the same experience with Kirkland AAs leaking and have found Sam's Club's Member's Mark AAs to be less prone to leak with the same performance.

I should add, that I had the same problems over the last decade with Duracells (C's and D's) bought through Costco too (lots of leaks and corrosion).
