Does anybody know what wavelength the light from a red Inova X5T has?

I ask this beacuse I think that not all red LEDs have the same wavelength and perhaps the ones in the Inova X5T might have a "special" wavelength.

Perhaps anybody did some measurements? Or anybody knows what type of LEDs they use and can provide a link to the corresponing datasheet?

Could someone with a spectra thingy take a peek at an x5t?

My spectrometer's busted and I don't have a red Inova X5T, otherwise I could "eyeball" it and come to within a few nm of the dominant wavelength, so I guess it ain't gonna be me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Since somebody is asking about the red Inova, why does it only use one 123 cell?

Red LEDs need less forward voltage (Vf) to light up than true green, blue, white, or NUV. I'm guessing somewhere around 1.8 to 2.0 volts for the red LEDs in the Inova.
So it can get away with using only one CR123A cell, which outputs around 3.0 volts.
