Yes stock it should be equal to spec 2 of BLF GT CFT90, theoretically speaking. (5500lumens, 2mcd)

At under half the size and half the price... goooodness gracious. I need one!!! My biggest/best thrower ever is my Skylumen Delta. Talk about a performance boost!

But why does Acebeam only claim 1.5mcd and stead of the 2mcd/2828m vinh measured?

Are Vinhís numbers likely to show that Acebeam severely underrated their specs for conservativeness?

Just different measurement setups getting different numbers. Fwiw I find Vinh's numbers to always be a little low on lumen output and a little high on candela compared to what I see from most manufacturers, Acebeam included. For example, Acebeam quoted its T30 at 300kcd, while Vinh quoted it at 400kcd.

Going from a U21 host to the K75 host will be quite the leap in size, haha. I used to think my TN40 was a little unwieldly before I got the K75.

Do you plan to send your K75 to vinh for beam tuning/mods? A driver swap perhaps? More internal copper heat sink layers...? Iíve been holding out not to buy the K75 unto Vinh offers it... but if itís over $400 Iíll have to go with the stock version lol. I just despise the idea of my biggest and best light ever being... well... stock. Doesnít give the same feeling of hot-rod enthusiast power.

If you felt how hot it gets within the first 30 seconds you would think twice about it being hot rod enthusiast power!

I'm not sure about a driver swap. Whatever driver Acebeam has in it I assume it's a buck driver. I wouldn't want the light to be ran direct drive like Vinh's drivers are.

I could send it to him just to play around with though.

I feel criminal using the K75 in urban environments. Whereas with the T21vn I could point it around discretely without flooding everything around the hotspot, but with the K75 it's like I'm just barfing out light everywhere in the general area I'm pointing. What a monster.

In these pics I'm pointing at a face of a parking garage 700 meters away. Camera settings were locked at f/2.0, 1/20sec, iso 640 for all 3 shots.

    control:

    T21vn:

    K75:

The T21vn decently lights up the middle part of the face of the parking garage, and barely the tops of the trees just in front of it.
The K75 lights up the entirety of the garage's face, wraps around it to the right side, lights up the trees in front of it, lights up the trees in front of those trees, and the spill completely lights up the tree that's about 20 feet in front of me to the left in the foreground.

One possible modification for the K75 could be to put a ramping UI in it. 2500 lumens has no heat issues whatsoever. I was able to run it 15 minutes straight and it was only warm before I turned it off. 6300 lumens gets extremely hot in a minute though. Maybe there's an in-between output that would be a goldilocks output for some.

I figured you looked directly into the lens of one of your power house lights and was waiting for your vision to return, LOL.

From post #768.. Still one of the neatest concepts that I've seen from Vinh . Besides being a useful, high CRI light, the artistic element and novelty factor is just so cool! I'd love to see these kinds of fun and creative customs offered in the future.

I even enjoy the light when its off!
    hahah

A flat wall of light with almost 180 degree beam is crazy useful for all the task I need.
Beam is especially useful for hiking at night or mounting on a bike and a ride through the woods.

I have the same problem with my Micro Mule CRI Vinh! Definitely one of my coolest lights.

I think when I get my Full copper back from Jacky I'm going to be sending it to you to do a mule treatment, 3x SST-20 3000K, 3x 219b 4500K, 1x LH351D 4000K, your email about it being the ideal mule host has eaten away at me..... and I'll try to get the 20 deg optic too! Then I will have a mild thower and super-flooder version of this light!

It is a great setup, I just wish it had less issues...... going through Vinh is 100% the way to go with the E07. The XP-L/ White 2 combos seem pretty enticing too.

Just built a large order of HC33vn with W2 and realized how crazy good throw this headlight is. I just measured a H2R heaglight and it got 6Kcd. HC33vn hit hearly 30Kcd!

For those of you into ultra compact lights, there are two new game changing cells on the market.

The new king of 16340 is the Vapcell 16340 tested in this link. Someone else also tested these with a graph.

The new king of 14500 is the Shockli 14500 tested in this link

These new cells make me much more interested in these small flashlights. Perfect for the TK16vn, TX25Cvn and the GTvn Micro

That's really neat! I didn't know Vinh made a mule version of the Micro. You might have to post a pic, business end first!

Haha! That's cool Vinh. You're the only light enthusiast more crazy than your own customers! I'm just surprised that you didn't make yourself a full copper E07 with 7 different high CRI LEDs, like with the TC20vn.

EDIT: ...and the only reason I passed on that light is the 26650 cell but I admit that every time I scroll past your pictures of that light, I just sit and stare at that cobalt blue board.... aux LED's... black wiring... black o-rings... black background... and magnificent 7 high CRI's... bordered by polished SS. Just amazing! I love it when you get really creative!
