Why was Fenix E15 Discontinued?

Does anyone know why Fenix discontinued their E15 flashlight. It was last updated in 2016 and now it is listed as being discontinued. Any idea why it was discontinued rather than being kept in the lineup or updated?

Oh I love that light! Got the older model and it's a real light on your keychain. Great throw and a nice way to carry a spare cell.

Replaced with the E16?

It's a great little light. Very happy with mine.

The E15 is my favorite light. It's a twisty, which to me is better for this type of light. Output is stronger on the E16, but apparently it gets extremely hot very quickly. If I were to buy right now, I'd get an E15.

Why was Fenix E15 Discontinued?
