What are the odds of finding different optics to use for this light to give it even more throw?

Boy do I love the way you think!

The optics in this light is already tuned for throw. If we want more throw then we need larger optics but there wouldn't be space.

3mm too large. Wonder if it can be made smaller.

Sand it down smaller is easy. But finding a MCPCB for it is not...

I gotta wait to see how W2 performs. :-)

Boy how cool would it be to have a clear anodized one with purple aux leds on head and button, with those larger throwier reflectors and W2s powered by a Samsung 30T.

I see some extra chamfering on the heat fins on the one to the left. Has fireflies started to smooth out the edges on the cooling fins? That was one of the complaints from the earliest batches.

Here's hoping the larger optics can work.

3000K sounds like a winner, what about auxiliary lights in red?

Any updates on the thrower optic? This may be the "light of the year" if you are able to pull this mod off with W1\W2 AND thrower optics. WOW!

    Clear is coming
Purple AUX is also coming. I have not seen it so I am kinda curious.
White2 in stock (not sure for how long) some of you guys are ordering custom lights that take a bunch of these at once LOL

I have found that every E07 is delivered with ULTRA thin thermal paste. It's so thin nothing sticks onto the MCPCB and almost none can be felt on the light shelf. I talked to FF and they claimed this is for best for the light. They used too much thermal paste on the ROT66 and that proved to be worse. FF claimed no E07 LEDs have died from heat yet.

My E07vn will all have thermal paste as I normally would apply them. If anyone wants to stick to the ultra thin FF paste let me know and I will keep it as is.
