aaa is gasoline resistant

had the top of a carb and dropped an arc aaa into the bowl while inspecting the inside of the unit.
no damage i can see.i shook off the gasoline as soon as i could fish it out.
this is the same one that took a bath in hot atf and mobil 1.
maybe it just likes automotive fluids /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey, that's GOOD to know considering I work with fuels all day!! I wonder that polymer is used in making the Nichia LED. Anyone know?

Epoxy, which is generally impervious to gasoline.

Snakebite - the gas probably washed the Mobil 1 off - better re-dunk it, for the "ultimate in high temperature and corrosion protection"........ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

it did wash the gunk out of the knurling though.
do you think i will get excessive sludge buildup if i go back to dino? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
