Thread: Suggestion for removing the head of this headlamp

Default Suggestion for removing the head of this headlamp

    Hello,

Any suggestion for removing the head of the below light? The head has zoom function. I am afraid of breaking something if I exert lots of torque turning the head left or right pass the stopping point. Thanks.

How far does it rotate when you use the zoom function? Does the actual head move outwards when you turn it?

it's a great light, i have few of them, but without zoom. hard to answer looking at the pic, normally zooms held by a ring, you remove the bezel and lens, turn zoom all the way in, remove stop ring , then remove the head. but this one does not look like typical zoom design

It takes 180 degree to zoom in to max narrow the beam. The whole head move with zooming.

    Thanks,

You aren't able to see anything underneath the head either when it's fully screwed out? No screws, any clips or such that would indicate a fastener?
