My question is. Can I charge all the 18650 and the 14500 with the Xtar VP2 with the switch set on 3.6?

Some of my 18650 an unreadable so I can not tell what they are rated for. Most are LG, Panasonic, Samsungs and Sanyo. The 14500 are EBL and Soshine.

Thanks

Yes, 3.6v settings for a terminal voltage of 4.20v is the safe way when unsure. Some 18650s, like the LG D1s and E1s, are 4.35v cells, that need a 3.8v charger, like our VP2s, to charge fully. The worst that will happen is that we don't charge them up to full capacity, when using the 3.6v setting.

I don't know of any 14500s that are 4.35v cells, so just use the 3.6v and charge to 4.20v.
