Okie dokie. I am off to the post office. No further changes will be made. I will post a picture of the dropins when they arrive!

I have added everything up so far. The drop-ins are going to be $67 + shipping. I will combine shipping for multiple drop-in orders however. Actual shipping costs of course. Insurance is going to be extra. I am going to use USPS flat rate priority boxes for added security and protection during shipping, but bad things do still happen.

I have ordered two additional 4000k drop-ins and two additional 3000k drop-ins as well. If you want an extra, let me know! First come, first serve via PM only.

Has I known they’d be that cheap I’d have budgeted and gotten a few different flavors. For now I’m happy with one.

    Gene says:

    Hello Jeremy,

Sounds great! I will let you know when they are ready. Hopefully 1-3 weeks depending on the work load when we receive them.

    Thanks, Gene

I am surprised I didn't post the price earlier in the thread. I thought I did...

ETA: price is in first post. Apx $71 shipped which is around what it is going to cost for a single module.

Side note, I am doing this group buy for free. I am making no profit off of any of this. I have been waiting patiently for the M361W module for a long time and finally asked Gene if he could do a run of them. Since he said yes, I asked everyone else for their support and this is where we are!

All drop ins have been spoken for. I will let you know when I get them in.

Payment info: I will be contacting each of you individually via PM for payment arrangements. Shipping will be actual shipping costs to wherever you are located; insurance extra. I will provide tracking and will (try to) ship out within 24 hours of payment.

Preferred methods: PayPal, venmo, or postal money order (for US based addresses). 1-3 weeks inbound! Tracking says Malkoff Devices will get the LEDs today and hopefully, will crank them out with haste.

Yes, and I forgot to thank you for doing this buy...I had not noticed the thread for some reason...glad I made it in time. Also, thanks for “forcing” me to finally get my hands on an MD2 host for this to sit in...I had originally planned to put it in a bored Elzetta Bravo that now has a M61N in it, but all this talk of the MD2 got me thinking...so...MD2 w/tricap and cren bezel on the way...

If you’ve never had an MD2 you will love it! Glad I went that route

Never had one...my Malkoff collection consists of a 16650 MDC, a 1-AA MDC and the afore mentioned drop-in. I sort of became somewhat of a High CRI nut so I’m m really excited to to be getting this great emitter in a host like the vaunted MD2.

I probably won't see anything until I get the credit card hit or an email from Gene.

Any suggestions as to the battery for this drop-in as installed in an MD2? Genes site suggests using only protected li-ions. I have a bored Elzetta that will not accommodate the extra girth the protection circuit causes. Any problems with protected extra length/width in MD2?

The M361 Nichia 219b that Illumn.com offers (out of stock) is listed as 12 lumens / 55 lumens / 275 lumens...not sure if this translates to 219C...might be similar?

Well it sure would be nice to have a lower low mode but either way it’ll be a nice unit

There’s a lot of wiggle room in MD2’s. I use Fenix and keep power they fit fine.
