I'm 64 designing my last kitchen. I need help picking out the led can lights to be installed. Here are the specs.
ceiling is 8 feet
kitchen island is 7 ft x 3 feet
distance from island to ceiling is 5 feet
ceiling has no sheetrock, just floor joists
i plan on installing 4 recessed cans over the island, 2 1/2 feet apart
i want to achieve 90+ foot candles measured directly below the recessed can at the work surface
i want the beams to cross 6 inches above the work surface
i want the led to be dimmable
i want the temperature of the led to also dim to warm
I think I want the color temperature led to dim to 1800 on the lowest setting and 3000 on the highest
I'm confused on how to achieve these items when looking at led ratings. I think I need I need an led with the following specs
Beam angle = 25 degrees (to have the beams cross 6 inches above the surface)
output = 1300 or more lumens
Brightness dimmable
tempertire dimmable
Am I missing something?
