LED life expectancy in Surefire L4?

Really? Have you asked SureFire?
"Burnt out" to me implies the part died before it should have. I was under the impression that Luxeons do not burn out, they just dim. If burnt out means broken then if it breaks, SureFire will fix it.
I don't think SureFire fixes worn out parts though.
Perhaps somebody can call SureFire Tech Support and ask about this please?
