Does anyone still have or use a light with Flupic driver?

Long story I will post later, but I am using
An old Flupic driver on XML light from2006. It was way ahead of it time.

What was you favorite driver or UI that you have used?

What ever happened to member Goldserve that made these drivers?

Yes! My brother still carries and uses a D.Speck Fire~Fly 3. Recently a gave it a Samsung LH351D emitter. He lost his first one a few years ago, it took a while to find a replacement. Another wall of shame manufacturer, but a great light. Still love the unique anodize color of the FF3. The Flupic is easy to program with a flow chart.

Sure, of course.

I still have a Draco that I get out and use occasionally. And a PF Tasklight Two.

Probably have a few others laying around somewhere, but those are the ones that jump to mind ....

Thanks for the mini history lesson Paul.

I was still touting an incan minimag until 2014 and missed the excitement you guys were feeling back then.
Things overall are pretty stale these days while lumen wars either wait for battery upgrades or just flat out speak in a gimmickery tone.

Yes it was a very cool time to be around the growth of LED flashlights.
Flupic has 5 modes and the you could easily set your own levels 1-20. I'll post the programming flow chart. Pretty much let you pick any UI you wanted. Hi-lo or Lo-Hi. And change it anytime your needs changed.

I still use a Surefire L4 Lumamax, CR123, that's in the living room. Don't know the electronics on this but it's the oldest light I have.

In 2006, I tried to fit one in my Q3... It worked then stoped and never knew why. Good old times.

As far as I remember, I think it only worked with li-ion. I can be wrong though, that was 12- 13 years ago...
