This light may be going from really good to super exceptional!

Can't wait for the new numbers, it is going to be a winner. Will order as soon as new pricing is available.

To me 100 watts of power is just too much for this little host to handle. The TN40 driven to the same wattage gets hot in like 30-60 seconds.

4 well driven white2s should only be like half that power at most. Plus I'm a throw guy.

Lets just hope I can fit my driver inside. Cross your fingers ;-)

Ok so I tried the White 2 with the reflector over the LEDs outside of the light but I was not impressed so I didn't bother to take it all the way.

With the light apart I was able to boost the original circuit and went from 5500L to 6500L. 100Kcd to 115Kcd. Does seam noticeably brighter.

I am going to check out to see if VNX3 will work not. Mod would be rather complicated as we will have to reconfigure battery configuration, MCPCB configuration, and charging circuitry...Boy not sure if its worth all this for may be 1500-2500L more than the power boost....

What kind of numbers are you getting with white2s and white1s with the reflectors outside of the light.

I can't measure it that way. But no point to proceed if the beam and output isn't impressive when paired with this overlapping reflectors.

I must say this light is very well designed. It's as compact as it get. Most nitecores are innovative but this is one of the rare ones that actually completes.

Hotspot doesn't get noticeably more intense with the Osram emitters?

Don't see how you could fit a vn driver in there.

The scary part is the mod is irreversible. If I screw up with VNX3 then its a big financial hit.

Im shocked by this too! What about Oslon black? Or XP-G2s? SST20? Had high hopes for extreme throw in a large hotspot with this one, considering its small diameter head for 4x batteries.

Secondly, are these the new BLF GT Nano hosts...?

Yeah my hopes are getting dashed for a multi reflector build sporting the Osram Whites left and right. Maybe they like full reflectors that don't overlap? I wonder how the Eagletac MX30L3-C and MX30L4-C would do? They're not quite as cool as the Concept 2 though, to me anyways.

    C2vn + DriverVNX2 + 4*3500mAh + New fast Rate Charger + 4*XHP35 HI 6500K

Measured at 5s since light get hot fast as you have TN40Svn Power in a relatively tiny light
    8000L, 125Kcd, 707m

I wont likely mass produce this light as heat is too much. Factory power boost to 6500L is adequate for the general.

I got my nitecore c2vn with the stock firmware, power boost, and xhp35 hi 6500k. I got 7060 lumen @ turbo. I measured with the Texas ace lumen tube with maukka calibrated light.. my number is higher than skylumen.. very happy with this light... true moon light mode. Anything past 2nd mode have plenty of lumen..

    Buy!

I only run turbo for 30 seconds. I am sure this light can run turbo longer but i dont want to ruin the light.. there is a step down around 20 seconds..

    initial temp is 62 fahrenheit.
    10 seconds @ 79.5 F.
    20 seconds @ 90 F.
    30 seconds @ 109 F

this light have a built in thermal sensor.. so it will automatically step down accordingly.

Love it! Excellent performance for the size. The tint is now the icing. Just enough neutral to remove all of the blue, purple to makes things creamy pleasant.

Can anyone with both the d4svn with w2 or w1 and this c2vn give some thoughts or possibly beam shots? Iv I would like to see a picture of these two lights side-by-side also if possible to compare size. I love my d4svn and this c2vn seems like a possible takeover spot. But the throw is almost identical but with more Lumens. Is it worth it if I already have the d4svn??

If we compare Turn on VS Turn on then D4Svn W2 makes 4600L & 100Kcd. C2vn Makes 7100L & 123Kcd. Just for reference.

C2vn power boost xpl hi 6500k. 7030 lumen. All my previous reading are 7030-7060 lumen.. I try my best to fit this square in the circle disc.

Wonder how this thing would perform with 4 3v 50.2 sliced dome. Wonder if it could get a higher sustained ouptut before heat issues come into play compared to the 35 HIs.

Heat size I am sure are both bad. I dont think its a good idea as XHP50.2 will make this light a flooder dome on or off. And if we talk flooder then there are plenty of competing flooders. C2vn shines as it throws for what it is.

Just finihed another C2vn and this light is so nice. Only if it was $200 instead of $300.

    C2vn Orginal Driver/UI Boosted:
    XHP35 HI 6500K: 6500L, 115Kcd, 678m

E07vn With W2 is a very poular seller due to its 5850L, 58Kcd, 482m. However After 30 seconds the performance drops dramatically especially if we leave the light orginal factory thermal step down setting.

So by 30s ANSI I would guess the E07vn W2 if likely 5000L and may be 45kcd tops. With this performance C2vn 30Sec at 6500L and 115kcd is ultra impressive! I forgot how impressive the C2vn is for a while now since I have been wrapped up with the E07vn. Comparing both side by side both are amazing lights!

I think more hosts should be made like this one, 4 ULTRA compact 18650 slots.... all that run time! Imagine a square head mule!!!! 9x HCRI LEDs In 3 rows of 3... the aesthetics, the symmetry! Plus PERFECT tail standing abilities!

Yes, I think a mule would be very interesting as well. The LED shelf seems to be a bit on the thinner side on this light and I like the the trend that we've seen lately, toward thicker shelves from some of the botique manufacturers. A lot of copper could be stacked up in a C2vn mule. I like small lights but personally, I'd be happy if all of them were 5-7mm longer than the original design and had massive LED shelves, especially useful for when Vinh gets a hold of them!

For sure.. sometimes i dont believe this c2vn have 4 x 18650... lol.. its so small and compact with 7000 lumen. I have been using this light for the past couple days.. good throw.. full press click to prevent accidental turn on.. cant go wrong with this light..
