I have the NB40 9080 from the special metal run and NC40 from Hogos last group buy. IMO the NB40 is much better. The color of the beam is homogeneous with my NB40. My NC40 is slightly yellow in the center of the beam.
The NB45 9080 is a great LED, but the NB40 0980 is a a little bit better. At all there is only a very little difference between NB40 9080 and NB45 9080.

    My list would be therefore:
    NB40 9080
    NB45 9080
    NC50
    NC57

Not seeing any yellow in my NC40, but I do see some yellow in my XP-G3 (totally different animal). Only thing I can compare my NC40 to is an older HiCRI NB40 HDS I have which seems to be a slightly warmer temp (a little more brownish).

I have a NB 40 Hi CRI and the xpg-3. They are both very similar and between the NC40 and the NB40 I prefer the B.

Henry in a cave this morning. Hogo took the photo and then exited the cave as fast as his fat little arms and legs would allow.

Yep, 100 yards of this at about a 45 degree or better angle and Hogo said "XXXX it. I'm out of here."

And this is what Hogo is doing now.

No, no. This won't do at all. Henry using a non HDS brand? What's next? Superman is paralyzed? Aqua man drowns in the bathtub?

Well, if he would get off his butt and make a headlamp.

The XP-G3 has much more yellow, no question. But the inner of the beam of my NC40 has a slightly yellow touch, the NB40 is in color more or less the same, in the inner and outer of the beam. That is the reason I like the NB40 more. At all the NB40 is MY current 4000K favorite, that is the reason I have only one NC40 and two NB40 lights Oh and than I have a 4000K 219A that is only ok.

My NB40 and NC40 have noticable differences in the beam. My two NB40 lights looks the same. Maybe my NC40 LED is a "bad" one.

The difference between NB40 and NB45 is only very little, almost no difference, but the difference between NB35 and NB40 is good to see. It is kind of interesting 500K difference between NB35 and NB40, also NB40 and NB45, but the difference in beam is easy to see in the one compare and almost not noticeable in the other compare...

When I have time I try to compare NB40 and NC40, and I will do some additional compare shots between NB35 and NC35, and so on. But currently no time

Yes, and I love my NB40 Bronze Rotary. This light has a good home with a lot of other HDS friends

I really hope I will have time to do some compare pictures, but currently at work the project is deep red, and my over hour amount is growing and growing...

Interestingly, flashes from a flashlight say that there is 325 lm, on a box of 300, where is true? Its purely theoretical interest, because it shines beautifully no matter how many here in reality.

The first of the three numbers starting with version 2.2 is the calibrated output divided by 10 and rounded to an integer. As an example, a 325 lumen light will have the value of 33.

Got it today from the aftermarket, the shape of the beam is very good, I like. Now I have 3 lanterns with ~ 4000K,
If we're lucky, there will be a fourth.

Only now I began to understand why in setting up the flashlight in point 14 in user's guide need point
    1. Turn On Preset
, if it is disabled, the flashlight simply turns on in the mode that was last, and can change them all places, which turns on first. I dumber than this couple, why haven't I paid attention to it for so long?

Are you sure you got a 300, and not an "old" 4000°K 325 in a box of 300 ?
The boot seems in an average shape for such a recent light.

Nevermind, that would mean the 325 having been reprogrammed since it's a 2.18. Maybe HDS doesn't have a binary code specific to the 300 ? Or just a programming oversight for this very light.
I have what is supposed to be a 100lm with a 200 code so IDK.

Or maybe you got a super performer

Absolutely, I like him very much

I do not know where this clip comes from, it is clearly not the original, because she has a larger hole diameter, but she keeps very, very well. Here is this nose in front, he would have been very good on the universal clip, I do not buy universal, because he has a little nose and i'm afraid that he will cling badly to jeans because of their thick edges.

There is another thought about the raised button, I will go to the topic of sentences
