They do make nice small lights. The only DQG I've had experience with is a Hobi+ that I've had for over a year riding on my keychain. My only complaint with mine is that it no longer works in low, only high.

The Zebralight is a few dimes-widths longer, but uses significantly thicker Al and outputs 0.2 to 2,400 lumens.
and don't forget the, now programmable, UI...

The 2300 lumen Zebralight is the SC600w IV Plus. It's longer and much wider than the DQG. Probably twice as big in internal volume. If OP really likes tiny lights, the SC600 is not a good choice.
A much better choice would be the Zebralight SC64w HI. It's similar in width to the DQG and just a bit longer. It's around 1300 lumens in output and a much better light than the DQG.

What 18650 DQG are we talking about? The Zebralight sc600 IV Plus is pretty small for an 18650 light but I guess it does have a fat head.

sc62/63/64 are compact for 18650, built better imo than the 18650 DQG lights.
Little line up, 16340 size/18650/16340/18650/16340/18650/16340/18650. 4th is the sc63 and 6th sc62 which are both 18650 fed.

What does That mean? Internal volume?? Do you just mean "volume" or the volume inside the light???

What DQG am I talking about? DQG 18650 Tiny III and IV (both are the same size. The IV is the current model). It's the smallest 18650 light available from any manufacturer that has an optic or reflector and isn't a headlight. It is smaller than all Zebralights that use 18650s including the SC64 and all Zebralight's headlights.
What do I mean "internal volume"? Actually, I mean if you closed the light up and sealed it and put in a measuring cup of water... how much would the water level rise due to the displacement of the light. I suspect the Zebralight SC600 is twice as big as the DQG Tiny IV.

It might clear things up to say, that the amount of water volume displaced by the DQG Tiny 18650 would be substantially less than the Zebralight.
Agree with this, the SC64 is the light to compare with the DQG 18650 light since it is primarily designed to be compact sacrificing other features.
The SC600 is not a compact light IMO. From what i've seen on here in various threads and in my personal experience with both lights, most Zebralight fans agree that the SC600 is not as pocket friendly. Don't get me wrong, the SC600 is a good light, but that is because it is designed to have more material for heat sink thus less likely to ramp down from heating issues.
