Recently, I saw a new metallic silver F-150 with an LED lightbar nearly the width of the hood mounted to the rear of the hood. No, unfortunately, the hood was not painted flat black.

Probably not a problem for the driver, because the incident angle of the light reflecting off the hood is too shallow for any meaningful amount of the light to reflect back into the driver's eyes. And as we all know, other people don't matter.
