    Mad71 Rude admin behaviour

It's very rude & pigheaded of moderators to delete posts without taking the time to inform the op that they have done so, I could understand if the posts were rude or broke the forum rules but for just doing it because they can is NOT a good reason.
I have heard of many people complaining of mods being little hitlers on this forum but I've now seen it for myself.
    CPF MODS shame on you.

If the admins and mods here took the time to inform everyone when and why something got deleted, and had the associated PM conversation that would inevitably follow, they woild spend all day here doing only that. You've been here long enough to know better, that this is a family friendly forum. I also invite you to re-read the rules, specifically in reference to discussing moderation here. Thread closed.

Sorry scout24... I'm going to open this thread back up so Nev can respond.

Nev... are you referring to your comment in the computer history thread in the Cafe?

Do you have any other examples of this rude admin behavior? Please provide links.

I take accusations of this sort very seriously and look forward to seeing your proof of such behavior so I can properly correct it.

    Thank you for your time.

Thanks greta, yes that is what I was referring to , my exact words were
My puta history is private lol.
It was just my way of having a joke to lighten up the day , please inform me if I've offended anyone or if it broke the rules. Scout24's post above just show how rude & intolerant some people can be , if he's read something into it then it's his dirty mind working overtime ,The reason I wrote that is because I wouldn't want my wife reading my history because she would know how much I spend on torches & batterys ,is he the one who deleted it ? If so then he should kindly inform me that he thinks rules has been broken & it would give me the opportunity to modify my words , thanks very much greta for giving me this opportunity to speak , rather than just close the thread.

Many years ago, I spoke half ass Spanish, French and Portuguese, but until looking at the urban dictionary I took puta as slang for computer.

I have no reason to believe that the op intended anything different when speaking of browsing history.

No I'm English , puta is a slang word I've used since I was a teenager for computer, it's not a word I've made up I started using it since I first heard it being said , it was said a lot on a lock picking forum I use to use , are you saying it is a rude word in Spanish ?

I've just looked it up on the inter web & it seems it's a Spanish word for whore , I did not know that & apologies for that , I thought the mod who deleted my post thought I was referring to porn in my computer history , but that's why I think the mod should've pointed that fact out to me & I would have reworded it.i think mistakes have been made by both parties & I apologise for my unintentional wrong doing , I'm not to confident that the other partie will admit in being too hasty but that's not a problem because I'm very tolerant & understanding , so as far as I'm concerned the matter is forgotten , thanks again greta for taking the time to help sort the misunderstanding out ,regards Nev.

Upon further thought, I am going to lock this thread now with these final words:

Scout24 referenced the CPF rule regarding discussing moderation in the open forums... that would be Rule #8.

This thread is a perfect example of why we have Rule #8... so members do not end up putting both feet in their mouths and embarrassing themselves with unfair and false accusations. Had Nev sent a PM to one of the admins or mods to discuss his concerns over the deletion of his post, it would have saved him this public embarrassment.

I have no problem whatsoever calling someone out in public if they choose to call me out - is that rude admin behavior? Maybe. But it starts with rude member behavior. You wanna call me and my staff "little hitlers"? Stand by... cuz I will respond and I will defend my staff with everything I've got.

The first few lines of Rule #8 are:

CPF has rules. Just about every forum on the internet has some kind of rules. All of you are here at CPF because of how it is run and the atmosphere. There are other forums you can go to but you choose to come here. The rules exist in order to keep things running smoothly and to maintain the atmosphere that you all enjoy when you come here looking for information or to share information.

This thread is now closed with the hope a lesson or two has been learned.
