Mag has come out with extensions for their ML300 and ML25/ML50/ML150 lights as well as one apparently for 2nd Gen LED D cell lights - these provide storage space for survival items and the like.

These might be nice if you want to replicate the length of some of the longer incan Mags using one of the newer LED Mags.

Barrel size and thread pitch compatible between old incans and new LED lights? I thought the new ones were thinner for some reason.

But not for same diameter extra batteries.
Another world, by adding any of them on (for example) 3C flashlight, you can not use 4 C size batteries.

Followings are to use same diameter extra cells.

Now that is not a stupid idea! Omg 😮 getting one

Careful though, they've been known to potentially cause potential cancer or potential reproductive harm potentially in California. Same with their hats, t-shirts, traffic wands, minimag reflectors....

Is anybody safe from anything in California (according to prop 65)?

According to prop 65 that bubble....

Wait for it now....

Potentially causes cancer or reproductive harm in California.

I'm just glad I live outside California. I can wear my shiney new Maglite ball cap without fear of potential cancer or reproductive harm.

Yet another great find xxo! Then again I will now have to devise a "kit" for my C cell Maglites!

Your multi-battery Fulton comes to mind just now. Using an extension or two you could potentially carry extra battery adapters right with a 2D Mag.Could be another good multi-battery candidate.

I'm not sure what the inside length is but you can keep a backup light in there I'm betting.

I thought of that, but just going by Mag's pics (no dimensions listed as of yet), it looks like the D cell versions might be too short for a set of adapters. The C cell version might fit one of my 18650 adapters for a 2C light. - adapters for AA's and AAA's for a 2 or 3 C cell should fit given that they are fairly small. Also if I was running a 18650 in the light I could keep adapters for 14500's and CR123/16340's in there.

The new model 2C ML25 might be a good candidate for the C cell extension. I am not seeing the new ML25 on Zbattery (still showing the old model) or the barrel extensions, not sure if any retailers are carrying them yet. Mag's site is always a little high priced so I am hoping a retailer offers them soon. I have several of the original ML25s that I like very well, but the flat 2 hour regulation is probably not the best option for the multi-battery set-up.

I don't normally order direct from Mag either, unless they are running a sale. Will probably end up with an extension for a 3C ML50 and a 3D ML300, should be similar in length to old 4 or 5 cell incan Mags with the extensions.

I agree about the run time on the 2 cell ML25 - too short with the flat regulation, particularly with alkalines. The new multi mode version looks like it will have a step down for longer runtimes as well as the option of a lower mode.

sure will. I have one on my 3D mag running 2X21700 batteries and a malkoff M91T in the head. I have a spare M60F in the extension for backup.
