Boy that old knurling is soooo much better. Not just looks but for a function point. Looks much deeper.the new knurling looks like it’s just a pattern.but I’m sure it will work.
If i had one day left to live i would want to be at my workplace.Because every day is like a frickin eternity.

The current knurling is pretty much exactly what the knurling is on the aluminum lights that have been shipping for the last several years. Same machinist. The previous titanium Clicky run was done by a different machinist, who never did do the aluminum lights.

The knurling, like tint, is pretty subjective. We have had people complain that the knurling on the aluminum lights was "too aggressive and cut up their hand". Really. We actually got that complaint.

We wanted to keep these as close to the same as the aluminum lights as possible so folks knew what to expect... though we did put in the US made orange peel reflector.

I should note that not ALL the titanium are going out today. We are doing what we can (hey, I'm only supposed to be here on Mondays soooooooooo) some will be going out next week and hopefully that will be the end. If we can't get them all out by next week, then the following week.

Update: We shipped out close to half the titanium pre-orders today. If yours is in the mail, you should have received a shipping notification with tracking number. If you didn't receive a notice with tracking, you will have to wait at least one more week.

    Tracking - Out for Delivery!
Yay!! I am watching the mailbox.

This is the second longest wait for an HDS Light for me.
I'm getting too old for this, really. Just had my 71st birthday a week ago so this is my present to me.

Happy birthday, Doctordun! I'll be living vicariously through you and the other titanium buyers. I'm hoping for lots of photos!

Yes! Happy Birthday to you! What emitter did you get? Think I remember High Noon? I just got mine a few minutes ago and will take a couple snaps. It’s a beauty...

Good memory. It will be a High Noon. I have one High Noon already and love it.
It's been raining now for 10 hours straight and the mail lady is running late.

Stunning! I can't quite make out the number on the bezel. Which one do you have? And did you choose the flush or the raised button?

Those three are awesome. My budget was torn apart just by one or I would have the three as well.

@emarkd. You can tell a lot about a person based on whether their HDS rotary is photographed with the dial on maximum or minimum. You are conservative and thoughtful. Johnnyh is a risk taker.

The titanium rotaries are killing me softly. I'm hoping that if I cover my eyes this thread won't see me.

    Two questions:
Is it wrong to sleep with my new Titanium HDS?
Will I be the only one who carries their new Titanium HDS?

I have enough safe queen guns and custom knives that I purchased over the years........
