Thread: DC0????

    Default DC0????

Anybody have any details on the DC0? From Jeff’s sketch on Instagram, it looked like a single AA light. I can’t wait to see what coolness comes out of Jeff’s shop.
    Lots of Ra's and HDS's

Share me some of that popcorn bro!

I still love my first run TinyDC. Exciting to hear something new might be coming.

14500 only, 15mm driver, single emitter, price point the same as the DC1

    Default DC0 Progress

Yes, the DC0 is in progress. We still have a bit of work to do, but I did manage to get the first part made for it yesterday. It's next to a DC1 head for comparison.

And, the original sketch for fun.

We roughed out the body just to see what the proportions would look like. This isn't functioning and it's a little too shorter, but overall I'm happy with the form. Components have all been sourced and should all have arrived by next week sometime.

Ooh, that looks quite good! With the new high capacity 14500s out this could be a great edc option.
    Hello darkness my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again...
I liked neutral tints before they were cool.

I know! We've been looking at the Panasonic UR14500P. I've seen it rated as 800 and 840mAh. What have you seen?

I was thinking of the new vapcell 1000mAh 14500. I'm not sure what cell is underneath, but HKJ has tested it here: https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteri...2018%20UK.html

First pill is done. This little guy seems tiny compared to the DC1 pill.

Haha. I've got a quite a few nice pens / pencils, but when I'm sketching and running parts, I like to use something I don't mind getting coolant on.

If you can find me a 15mm driver like that, yes. Factory will be linear, three modes with memory, 4.2v.

Titanium DC0s are done with finishing. They're going to be on okluma.com on Monday at 6pm Central.

Before you purchase a DC0, please be aware that this is the very first time we have
made them. We cannot promise that there will be no issues with the DC0, but we can
promise that we will take care of you if there are. We are quite happy with them
right now, but we expect to make changes in the future based on feedback we receive.
Lights from this first batch can be upgraded or replaced at no cost at any time.

I am leaving on Tuesday for the Tour Divide and will be gone till around the first or second week of July. Clark will be here at the shop shipping orders, handling warranty work and answering any questions you may have about the DC0. The best way to get ahold of him is email, support@okluma.com.

We'd still like to make an AAA sized light, but the design will be different.

I hope it's clicky and with reasonable price
