At the risk of revealing my psychosis, I have another question. Does anyone carry two HDS flashlights and two knives?

........... ok ill bite, yes i do

i carry my high noon and xp-g3, bradford guardian 3 or CRK Micarta insingo, SAK Electician or Pioneer, and a minichamp or manbug salt on the keychain......... Thats the EDC loadout. I also have a Fallkniven F1 in my pack along with a leatherman charge.

i am all over the place day to day, from an office environment to industrial, urban to true wilderness. I probably over do it a tad but i have found continued use for all aforementioned tools

This is great stuff. I'm very interested in how you carry each of these items.

The mug is the most difficult as they have a tendency to slosh in your pocket.

keys front right pocket or bag depending, G3 wharncliffe horizontal belt carry, SAK 5th pocket, HDS left front pocket with a second in my EDC bag.

My work life and real life dictate a casual tone and an untucked carhartt t shirt and riggs workwear pants are the order of the day. This makes my edc assortment completely concealed yet available to present at a moments notice. Small sebenza is great in a 5th pocket also, just don't forget its there or else you will have a noisy washer.

you just need deep pockets and a very long straw, it does get a little wet at the bottom of the pocket but you get to smell like coffee all day and im pretty sure thats a natural aphrodisiac

Which HDS lives in your pocket and which one is stashed in the EDC bag?

During the day and at work, i have the high noon in the pocket and the xp-g3 in the bag, when the sun goes down and i am outside or headed into the city - the g3 gets called into service.

Just as you carry 2 hds lights with you for whatever your reasons, i think carrying 2 knives would fill the same role(different tasks, backup).

When I was doing utility construction, i would carry several knives with me each day. Can't always carry a sharp maker, so backups for different tasks or if the blade dulls and you don't have a sharpener with you, etc.

Many reasons to carry more than one

I do this. I have a SAK in one pocket and a dedicated folder (kabar dozier, onterio rat II, or similar) in the other.

In my case/needs it would be one of my trusty old traditionals and a sebenza or one of my spydercos.

I carry a few different knives in my semi for misc tasks possibly needed while out on the Road.

I think modern is just itching to get that sm sebenza to go with his new crk
He has to properly plan this out and find good justification for when "the boss" (his wife) starts asking questions

You know, if I were a bachelor, I'd already have one. Or six. Sometimes it's less about what I can afford and more about what I can get away with.

For those keeping score at home, I've just ordered the KME knife sharpening system, plus a few accessories. There are many ways to get the job done, but this one looks best for me.

I have had the system for many years, been very happy with it. I still use my old spyderco sharpmaker for the kitchen knives for touch ups, but kme everything else 100% and also repairs on the kitchen knives.

The more I investigate the CR Inkosi, the more interesting it gets. The manufacturing process grinds the blade to +/- one ten thousandth of one inch. That is +/- .0001", or 1/10th the diameter of a human hair. In my mind, that is a unique feature similar to having proprietary software in a flashlight like the HDS.

Yesterday, I had my Inkosi apart as I'm still experimenting with the amount and type of lubricant in the pivot. When reassembling knife, I had all the parts in their place except for the pivot screw, which was lying next to the knife on my table top. There was still zero side to side blade play, even without the pivot screw. Now those are tight tolerances, my friend.

Fun fact: The tolerance used for LEGO bricks is about 2 micrometers, or 0.000079 inches. So making a knife out of LEGO will be cheaper AND better than CRK
    Hello darkness my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again...
I liked neutral tints before they were cool.

Is that true? The tolerances can’t be that tight, can they?

Such a knife would be welcome around here. We could each aim four different colors of high CRI lights at it and argue about the precise hue of the LEGO.

Edit: It would really hurt to step on this LEGO!

Wondering if there are any other angles of this holster captured in a photo - opened, snap, loop or clip?

Post #6 shows an HDS CRK combination holster. Has anyone else done this?

I have been collecting Great Eastern slipjoints recently but this thread has me seriously considering a small Inkosi to carry with my titanium rotary.

I don't know where that one came from, but Hogo made a similar double HDS pocket slip for me. I don't see any reason why one couldn't be made for your knife / light of choice.
