Looking for a new 14500 light. I've narrowed it down between a ReyLight Ti Lan or an Eagtac D3A. Only requirements are titanium, pocket clip, tailcap clicky and 400 lumen min. If there are others out there feel free to mention them.

And go...........

Hmm, 14500 capable torches in titanium aren't a common commodity, under $250 that leaves out some possible custom options. The Reylight Lan, Eagletac D3A, Eagletac D25A, and the Mi7 Ti are what comes to mind. The Mi7 Ti is a side switch however.

I've had the Mi7 in red and hated the side switch. If Klarus made a rear clicky, it would be near perfect for what I'm looking for.

It looks like the Reylight has won out over the D3A only because of the trit slots. Now to decide what color(s) I want to do on it.

For what it is worth, the Reylight is rather on the larger side, and the switch is suuuper sloppy. I can't speak for the D3A but the D25A I had was a nice piece and the reverse clicky was a robust feeling switch

The D3A came in the other day, hopefully soon I'll get the LAN in the mail.

This looks awesome and cool trits you put in it! Can this be programmed to come on at high? Where did you purchase it?

Yep, you can enable the Ti LAN's memory feature which allows it to remember the last setting used.

Would you mind doing a side by side photo comparison? Thinking about both of these lights myself but not ready yet to jump for both of them like you did
