    Default 14500 Titanium EDC

Looking for a new 14500 light. I've narrowed it down between a ReyLight Ti Lan or an Eagtac D3A. Only requirements are titanium, pocket clip, tailcap clicky and 400 lumen min. If there are others out there feel free to mention them.

    And go...........

That's a little out of my price range lol. Looking in the $250 and under club.

TnC has some newly machined parts in Ti and could fit your price range

Hmm, 14500 capable torches in titanium aren't a common commodity, under $250 that leaves out some possible custom options. The Reylight Lan, Eagletac D3A, Eagletac D25A, and the Mi7 Ti are what comes to mind. The Mi7 Ti is a side switch however.

Mecarmy PS14 Ti. There are Ti versions above and below your budget depending on pattern.

I've had the Mi7 in red and hated the side switch. If Klarus made a rear clicky, it would be near perfect for what I'm looking for.

It looks like the Reylight has won out over the D3A only because of the trit slots. Now to decide what color(s) I want to do on it.

For what it is worth, the Reylight is rather on the larger side, and the switch is suuuper sloppy. I can't speak for the D3A but the D25A I had was a nice piece and the reverse clicky was a robust feeling switch

Yep, you can enable the Ti LAN's memory feature which allows it to remember the last setting used.

Would you mind doing a side by side photo comparison? Thinking about both of these lights myself but not ready yet to jump for both of them like you did
I'd love to shed some light on that for you

Thanks! Quite a size difference and beam difference! How are you liking them?

Love them both tbh. The D3A I carry while at work, fits in my work pants pocket better due to the smaller size. The LAN I carry when not at work just for the the cool factor from the trits. The LAN is my first nichia light, everyone I've had in the past has been CW tint. I'm liking the nichia tint better each day. Might have to sell the D3A and get one with a nichia. The only downside to the LAN (If I had to list one) is no strobe.
