Need to know the network bands. The short answer is "probably very few areas if at all." Which I'm guessing you've read already since you think you've made a mistake.

this is the tablet i liked it becuase it claims it has 20 hours battery life so im hopeing it gets at least 8 but i also wanted to use it with metropcs

Nearly all of the major carriers in the US support FDD-LTE (Frequency Division Duplex). I think there's an excellent chance that it will work in your area.
