I think if I was strapping a piece of electrical gear onto my head i'd want it to be from a trusted manufacturer. This may well be a case of "Pay cheap, pay twice".

Very good point. I know the good ones are safe but there's something unnerving in strapping a huge 18650 on my head. So yep get a good headlight from a good company.
