Surefire G2 upgrade today - any ideas?

I saw some very old posts on upgrading the Surefire G2. It seems like many of the upgrades had heat issues. Are there better upgrades that can be done today to replace the 65 lumen V60 with something much better/brighter?

I'm using P90 drop in with Miser 5 mode tail switch and 2x16340. Miser=10$, P90=15$. And you get guilt free 105lm

A Malkoff M61L will give you 230 lumens full time with zero heat issues. McClicky tailcap kits are available from a bunch of places, or as mentioned just above, the Miser railcap guts fit. Lumens Factory makes multiple 6v, (2 primary 123's) 9v, (2x16340's) and 3.7v (16650) incan dropins. 16650 cells fit and work great in the G2. The ol' workhorse still has a bunch of miles left in it. All 3 of my vehicles have G2's in them.
