Preface: If you held an Orcatorch before you would know the feel of the build quality on their lights. This particular model is no different. The T20 is robust, is a performer, surprisingly enough in terms of lumen output to performance hotness ratio. This is the smaller version of the T35 prototype from Orcatorch.
Packaging:
It comes very well packaged in a brown carton, secured with bubble wrap and foam. And inside the box is a black, blue and orange retail packaging which holds the light and accessories, protected and secured by foam inside so everything stays in place.
It is somewhat designed like a tool or gun box for easy carry when travelling, it comes with a large carved out handle, and two heavy duty plastic snapping enclosures.

Operation:
From OFF:
-Click the tail switch for ON, to switch modes, use the side switch.
-Half-click the tail switch for momentary ON
From ON:
-Cycle through the modes using the side switch, modes always go from LOW->MED->HIGH->TURBO.
To activate strobe and SOS, you need to have the flashlight on, and then press and hold the side switch for around 2 seconds, and again for around 2 seconds to go to SOS from STROBE.
Lockout:
There is no electronic lockout on this light. There is a mechanical lockout instead (just turn the tailcap 1/4th counter clockwise).
Form Factor:
The T20 has some heft to it. Built very well and straight forward in design, it has an anti roll feature as well. Fits very well in hand and has good balance. The design gives the light a very substantial cooling system that even on TURBO for long, it doesn't heat up the light, thus giving more
TURBO time.
Head:
It has a stainless steel, mildly aggressive strike bezel.
The toughened glass with anti reflective coating houses the CREE XM-L2 LED which is perfectly centered between the deep, smooth, polished
aluminum alloy reflector which gives the light decent throw and useable spill.
There are 3 deep set cooling fins on the head which gives the light very good heat dissipation. The side switch is made of rubber, embossed is the Orcatorch logo in a dotted pattern, around it is an aluminum ring.
The head can't be separated from the barrel of the light.
Inside is a gold spring for contact of the cell.
Barrel:
It is one with the head of the light. Has parallel fine knurling and some flat panels which the brand and model is laser engraved on either sides.
It has a very sturdy black clip, and a tactical ring comes installed, however, you can still detach if you choose to.
An o-ring is installed with well lubricated, square cut threads.
Tail:
It does have a tail-stand capability, has a stainless finish on the tail end which also has a lanyard hole. The main switch is a rubber switch boot which also has the brand logo embossed in a dotted pattern.
There are 2 flat panels on the tail cap to provide good grip when opening the light. It has a crisp, audible click when pressing.
Inside is a nipple like aluminum contact button for the cell.

Conclusion:
To sum up, I believe that the most important part of any review is if given the chance to purchase the same light for my own EDC, would I still purchase it?
For this light, it is a definite YES. Specially if you are looking for a tactical edc light with complete functions. The OrcaTorch T20 possess all the quality hallmarks of a tactical LED flashlight – smooth beam, evenly spaced modes, hidden but accessible strobe and SOS modes, and robust design. I must say I was impressed with the TURBO runtime that it didn't heat up the light and stepped down fast. I recently had an out of town trip with my girlfriend and we brought our T20's with us, we used it the whole time, and I can really vouch for it performance wise. I've held quite a number of torches already and even did a review for the Orcatorch T35 sometime last year, I must say this is no different in terms of build quality as I've mentioned earlier and the brightness which is expected from a 980 Lumen light is ample and great.
Scrutinizing the light over throughout the review, I am hard pressed to find any flaws at this price point. If I were to nit-pick, it would be the UI, I prefer the UI going from LOW-MED-HIGH-TURBO-HIGH-MED-LOW rather than this lights UI, and also that you can't turn on the light using the side switch. Lastly, I would suggest to the manufacturers that they update the LED for this light, maybe add a charging dock as well. But given the age of this light and design, I'd stay it still impresses up to this day comparing to the other tactical lights in the market. Truly a value for money.
As with all gears, two is one and one is none.
