I purchased the JB SF-R26 for Christmas, however it just stopped working. It's a self-charging 18650
FL and I'm getting no response out of it.

Usually, when I plug in the cable, a blue light comes on the mode button, but now nothing is happening.

Suggestions?

As with all things electrical, check:

1: Connections and cables- Make sure they are all good and properly connected. Swap out for another known good cable. Check the head and tail cap and even clean them if needed. Use alcohol or an Electronics specific cleaner.

2: Check the battery- Swap for another known good battery or check the one not charging for voltage and make sure the protection circuit (if present) hasn't been tripped. If it reads under about 2.4 volts that may keep the circuitry from charging it. Zero volts indicates the protection has likely tripped and you might be able to reset it.

3: Look for signs of corrosion or damage. Make sure the USB port is still functional and there are no signs of arcing or melting inside the port or anywhere else.

If nothing changes then switch to CR123A's and see if the light works. If the light works properly you at least know the light is most likely working and it could be the 18650 cell. If none of the above works then it could be a failure of something internal that you probably can't repair on your own. It may then require a customer service call to JetBeam or perhaps the place you bought it.

Does the mode light flash to indicate power level?

It was the battery.

Replaced with one (temporarily) from batteries plus.

Thank you for your help!
