    1) How would you prefer to purchase the light?

    __x__I want to buy a light from a large/traditional manufacturer that is ready to go out of the box.
    _x___I would like a light from a specialty manufacturer (Possibly limited run/Custom).
    _x___I am interested in assembling my own components. (for example a “host” or flashlight body from one manufacturer, and a “drop-in” emitter from another source).

    Rechargable lithium

    8) How much genuine out the front (OTF) light do you want/need?
    20000+ lumens

    9) Flood vs Throw:
    Looking for long distance thrower. Some spill is ok.
    ____Wide Throw: I want a beam with a noticeable hot-center for distance throw and a significant amount of "side-spill". Good for rough trail hiking, search and rescue, and general distance work.
    ____Narrow Throw: I want a beam with a very tight "hot center" and minimal "side-spill". Good for distance viewing, fog, and looking through dense undergrowth.

    Well, If you are looking for a contender for king of throw, the BLF GT platform is hard to beat. It’s big though....

    If you really want throw with limited spill, I would also suggest the BLF GTvn, not 20,000 lumens, but either 1.5M or 2M cd, and certainly large. https://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...rthest-Thrower

    Since I don't use it along with a spotting scope, I prefer my stock BLF GT because of color temp and the ridiculously low group buy price. A 5-lb, 13" light with "only" 1M cd is enough to impress the girls I know...
