HI all i know is i got this light on Ebay for $5
it uses 3 lr44's really really bright and focused
i ordered a Streamlight keychain equivelent hearing it was bright on here, doesn't compare
it's pretty impressive for aChinese light with Japanese LED and some weird focusing, on par with any arch aaa,
it's alluminum machined with grips and a holder, very smooth to operate and focus the lens on off , im' impressed, the seller would not give me his source, but i assume it's about $2-3 in bulk

How does the size compare with the Dorcy 1AAA?

I have this light, too. It is really bright, well-made and produces a perfect, focused beam. The biggest problem I have with it is the size. It's really too big to be a keychain light and for EDC pocket carry, I would prefer longer runtime (AA or AAA). The Streamlight Keymate is significantly smaller. I haven't figured out what to do with the light.
