If I can make them fit I will try to put 3 LS in a 3D mag, so I need to know the LS model so I can check the dimensions. I will heat-sink them well and may leave off the front lens, I know about needing a resistor (but probably a smaller value with this hight a draw).
Some Additional questions for anyone:
It looks like with 3 LS it will be pulling about 1 amp. Can 3 alkaline bats handle this? (if run time is similar to stock mag, that will be ok). How many lumens does a stock 3D mag put out for comparison? How many ma does a stock 3D mag pull?
I am thinking of putting in 2 white LS's and 1 Amber LS for more light. Is this a good/bad idea?
I had been thinking of trying a whole bunch of nichias. I was going to grind each of them into a hex shape and pack them together! The LS looks like a better idea.
