Actually I don't "want" to sell this! My brother is getting married, and I need extra cash for the trip! I bought the Makai host new from Don, one month ago. The 6V LE is used, and just arrived back from a LED swap. It now has a lovely Luxeon V 4000k emitter. The tint is quite nice! The light has light handling scratches, but no dings. Asking $475 *SOLD*

The first "I'll take it" followed by PayPal, gets it! Thanks.

Stock 3-speed driver (apart from the emitter swap) ?

Do you happen to know if it will easily fit a 16650 ? 17670 ?

Oh, didn't know that.
I'm saying from experience based on what others told me. So far nobody said it doesn't fit[emoji15] (3 souls)

Yes, stock 3 speed 6V LE except for the LED. I'm sorry I don't have any 16650's anymore, so I'm not sure what will fit. I doubt that a 17670 will fit in this one though.

17670 does not make sense, modern 16650 have a large capacity. Are you not interested in selling this light engine separately from the light?

Thank you for the information.

Yes, I am aware of modern battery capacities, thanks.

I am also aware that I currently have a large number of older and still functioning 17670 batteries, but very few newer 16650 batteries.

So the question makes some sense, at least to me ;)

If it doesn't sell this weekend, then I will likely split it, as I already have a buyer for the 2x123 pak.

Cool, then - in case of separation - I would like to buy a light engine  Or even a head together with a light engine, you can divide the amount by us (one who takes the body)

No one care to buy the whole light and save me the shipping hassle of parting out the light?🙂

Ok guys, I've sent PM's to you three who are interested in a Makai split. If all parties accept my prices and send payment, then I will get them all shipped out tomorrow morning!
