The only one I currently have is an M60F, and it sits in my extra parts bin. The M61LN with dc-fix I carry daily is a much better option. It's brighter and more efficient too.

Mine came with a host I bought so I really have nothing in it.

Seems to be the general opinion. Itís nice, but there are much better options. I canít keep things that wonít be used so it will be posted for sale. To many other things I want....

So just got a old school Malkoff 2XAA twisty and Iím asking myself why the man stopped making them? Itís tiny for a 2XAA and with the VME head itís a fantastic light! Really liking it a lot. Running a M30 in it as it draws much less then the M31.

Regular 18650 Hound Dog doesn't seem to be listed on the site anywhere. Has it been discontinued?

I doubt that, maybe just a lil slow with the virus, or perhaps its tough sourcing materials bc the same.

I highly doubt that as well and will refrain from entering any reality in which this is the case. In what I've dealt with him everything seems situation normal: COVID 19 style at least.

The industrial supply chains across the country are floundering all over the place, I'm willing to be between smaller batch orders and just general COVID shipping/ supply tomfoolery we are seeing longer than normal down-times.

He is also in the process of switching to a new Supplier of LEDs across the line, this is probably creating some backlog in terms of getting out old inventory and working on testing of new products.

IDK about anyone else here, but construction of anything in my general area is moving so slow nobody has any idea how to handle it, and from what I hear that's mostly on the supply side of things.

Ya GENE is such a standup guy if something was going on that would effect his customers like that he would let us know. Iím sure he has the same problem all companies are having. Just canít get the supplies you need. Rest of the year will be like this.

Also can I just say how awesome it has been to have a dedicated Malkoff Forum for almost one year!

Really glad we got a space to host a whole range of topics as they relate to Malkoff Devices. I think this has been super great to all my fellow junkies, although significantly less kind to our wallets....

Does the latest generation of MDC L/M/H still have PWM on the lowest mode?

Yes but I've never been able to notice it. I'm not super sensitive to PWM.

Martin D White MD-Hex heads came in yesterday!

These things are awesome! Super thick walled, looks to be at thinnest about 50% thicker than a standard MDx head. Feels like at least twice the amount of material if not more. I bet these will be very nice for heat sinking. I'm thinking one of my M91b Ns has to go in one of these, I like to run those for long periods of time.

You won't regret it. These things rock. Not as pocket friendly, but for walking sticks or back door lights these things are the wicked. Also great for nightlights!
