I saw it before this announcement hit. I have to say I was mildly impressed ...until I saw the proprietary battery. Or rather the non-standard 18650 since it seems several companies have made use of "both contacts on top" type of cell...although not extensive enough to justify buying one myself.

Gunga's comment is justified. A 100 lumen low and 2 lumen moonlight mode??? I don't think you understand what "moonlight" means. The amount of light from a full moon under a clear night sky is less than one lumen. You could simply call it an ~ULTRALOW~ mode or something, but it's not a true moonlight. I do not consider something that is brighter than an original Surefire 6P incan as "Low output". To me, low output is somewhere under 20 lumens or so and 100 lumens is far too bright. I shouldn't have to wear shades to look under a desk or table in a corner. If you have to avert your gaze when shining it at yourself in low, then it is too bright for low mode. I'd call it a low-medium, or MED1 with the 400 lumens as MED2. Then you could call the 2 lumen mode LOW.

"Is this the pocket flashlight you are looking for?"

That's a hard pass for me.
1) Not 18650 friendly. I have at least a dozen readily charged at all times.
2) Thin lense means easier to break if dropped.
3) 100 Lumen low. Are you kidding me?
