That's the old gen1 product you found for $400. The current gen2 lamp is much improved, but can still be found for less than $650+.

Ah, bummer. I thought I was doing everyone a favor by posting a smokin' deal. Amazon seems to have random price drops; I found this just a few days ago, and from what I understand, it's basically the same as the Hella light bar that's been praised around here, and the re-branded Hella goes for over 2x the price normally.

Maybe we're arguing cuts of steak, instead of filet mignon vs. Always Save(R)​ hot dogs here.

The hard reality of being on a budget means that if you're replacing a factory sealed beam or composite lamp on your motorcycle, getting the cheaper of the two means having $200.00 could go a long way towards another safety upgrade, like good road leathers or a helmet or something. Obviously, if money is no object, then definitely get the revised version.

Ooh, good to know. I guess they had too many problems with counterfeits.
