Lightweight mount to hold a flashlight securely perpendicular to a vertical 1" strap?
I want to attach a light securely to a 1" strap running vertically. I want the light to be perpendicular to the strap. This has to be light weight as the lights will be hanging on the sides of my head! Here is the strap I want to use:

More info: I plan to use this strap to hold a helmet-ish thing on my head. It is going to be a chin strap that wraps all the way around the top of the helmet. I want a light on either side of my head. Here is the helmety thing I will be using:

I plan to cut slots into the sides of this thing to thread the strap through and use it as a cave diving head-light-mount.
