Default Help identifying burnt components[Nitecore HC60]

The positive terminal of the battery contacted with the headlamp housing and the board made some smoke. It's not completely dead. It's charging the battery and the voltage indication function is still working. The LED emitter turns on but only at the lowest setting. The "1" component looks like a resistor and looks definitely burnt. Some plastic bits fell off when I tapped it with a screwdriver. I'm not sure what the "2" is but it looks different compared to the pictures of this board I found online. How do I check this component to find out if it's burnt or not? Thanks for your help.

    This should help you.

And here is number 1 capacitor.

And I'm sure some of the experts here can chime in on number 2.
