Does the PD do two modes in the usual way, but now running the triple?

Just curious how the UI runs in that piece.

For those that may be unfamiliar with the KI ... the machine work on those are remarkable, a tiny gem.

These were extremely rare and difficult to find, presumably made in very small numbers. It took me a couple of years to find one, and that was back nearer to when they were being made and in circulation.

Aloha Jay!

It is currently set up with a 4 speed option, ML/L/M/H and is controlled by either the contact of the piston drive or by creating/breaking contact when twisting the head. The new driver is running a guppy programming and has all those options available. It is a very nicely done mod, with lots of flexibility and a hugely improved lumen output compared to the original set up.

Yes, the machining is spectacular and the build quality is amazing. I am still impressed, even by modern machining standards, how well this was manually made...and if I didn't own a second one this one would definetely be staying in the collection!
