I am thinking about buying a nylon Streamlight Stinger holster. It looks like the ones with the flap are either for the old style or a different version for the new LED style. For those that still carry a Streamlight Stinger, I see that there is a genuine Streamlight version. For those here that have the genuine Streamlight version, how well do you like it? I am somewhat inclined to get one, without a flap, that will accommodate either the older or the new Stingers.

There's not much to say. Its a good holster. With the larger style stinger, the risk of having the light come out is pretty slim as even if it moves around a bit or gets jostled, the body of the light is so large that it would require ALOT of movement before its going to fall out.

For simple run, jump, getting in and out of the car style stuff, absolutely no issues. You MAY lose your light in a serious struggle but the same can be said for essentially anything out there that holds a light.

Id recommend it.
